New National Living & National Minimum wage rates from 1st April 2018
From the 1st April 2018, the National Living Wage & National Minimum Wage rates will be increased as follows:-
• £7.83 per hour - 25 yrs old and over
• £7.38 per hour - 21-24 yrs old
• £5.90 per hour - 18-20 yrs old
• £4.20 per hour - Under 18
• £3.70 for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over who are in the first year of apprenticeship.
Apprentices are entitled to the minimum wage for their age if they both:
• are aged 19 or over, and
• have completed the first year of their apprenticeship
